If you are registered with our GP surgery, you can access some health services online. This means you can do some tasks when it is better for you and avoid telephoning the practice.

From Monday 2nd June, Pilning Surgery / Hanham Health will be changing the way in which we book GP appointments and manage patient requests.
Patients are encouraged to use our new online system, Anima. The easiest way to access Anima is by clicking the link below.
Anima has an Account-less Login, so you will be able to access this by entering your personal details.
The attached video shows you how easy it is (please skip any adverts):
We encourage patients to submit their requests online via Anima, as you can avoid queuing on the telephone and can submit your request confidentially.
Patients who would prefer to use the telephone can continue to do so.
To prioritise appointments, staff will ask you a series of structured questions about your request. It is important to answer these questions accurately.
All requests, whether submitted online or via telephone, are passed to our Patient Access Team who will then determine the most appropriate appointment or course of action.
Please note we cannot take requests at Reception due to confidentiality, and our receptionists can no longer book GP appointments directly.
Patients should go online or telephone the Surgery.
These changes are in line with national NHS requirements and will allow us to prioritise patients with more urgent clinical needs and improve the use of our precious resources.
We know that system changes can be unsettling for patients, and we may experience some teething troubles, so we are grateful for your patience and understanding during this period. We are confident that this will ultimately deliver a better service for all patients.
Thank you.
