We run a range
of clinics. For an appointment or
further details, please call Pilning
Surgery on (01454) 632393.
Antenatal
- Tuesday 2.30pm to 5.30pm
This clinic is run by the
midwives. If you become
pregnant, you will be given a
‘booking pack’ and the midwife
will contact you to arrange a
mutually convenient time to
register you for maternity
services. You will be seen
regularly throughout your
pregnancy either at the practice
or at the local hospital, or
both.
Asthma/Respiratory Conditions
Child health and immunisation
Immunisation/Vaccination Consent - You must be the lawful parent or guardian of any minor you are requesting to be immunised or vaccinated. If you are not, you will be required to produce written consent from the legal parent or guardian which must be verified before treatment can take place.
Diabetes
Flu Immunisation Clinics
- Flu clinics
are held each year on the first
Friday in October – you do not
need an appointment and are
asked to arrive between 8.30 and
12 noon and 2.00pm to 6.15pm. It
is our intention therefore to
reach as many patients as
possible who are aged over 65
years or those with an increased
risk i.e.
• Respiratory disease or asthma
• Heart problems
• Renal disease
• Immunosuppression due to
disease or treatment
• Diabetes
Please ring us during the month
of September and we will confirm
our arrangements for that year.
Minor surgery
- By
appointment
Minor operations can be done in
our treatment room. Please
discuss this with your doctor
who will then arrange for you to
be given an appointment.
Parentcraft Classes
- Parentcraft
classes are held on a regular
basis covering all aspects of
childbirth, childcare and
parenting skills.
