| Pilning Surgery
although located less than seven
miles from central Bristol is a
rural dispensing practice catering
for the needs of a growing
population, presently 4338 patients
, increasingly made up of commuters.
There is a balanced mix of social
class.
The practice area,
bounded by the M4 to the north and
the M5 to the east, covers about
forty square miles of mainly North
Bristol Greenbelt, with the main
centres of population in three
villages, Pilning, Easter Compton
and Severn Beach.
Pilning is the
“service centre” of the district.
The surgery premises re-located to a
purpose built surgery in August
1996. The building was architect
designed to be easy to maintain and
yet blend with the countryside by
which it is surrounded. Although
less than seven miles from central
Bristol this is a semi-rural
practice.
Our team includes three GPs, four
senior nurses, one health care
assistant as well as our practice
manager, assistant manager,
dispensers, medical secretaries and
reception staff.
We offer a full general practice
service and run specialist clinics
for children and pregnant women,
diabetes and asthma sufferers and
for patients needing minor surgery.
We also offer an on-site dispensing
service.

promptly, courteously and in
